Day By Day Itinerary

Day 1: Dar Es Salaam - Mikumi National Park

Transfer Dar Es Salaam (Airport or Lodge) – Mikumi: 6 hours

Program: You will be picked up from your hotel or from the airport and start your safari driving to Mikumi National Park. You will arrive in Mikumi at mid-morning and will direct go for game drive to explore the park. Mikumi National Park is one of Tanzania's most famous parks. After your game drive you will leave the park and head to the Camp for dinner and overnight stay at your accommodation.

Activities of the Day: Game drives

Accommodation: Camp Bastian Mikumi.

Day 2: Mikumi- Iringa Town

Transfer Mikumi – Iringa: 2 hours

Program: Leave the Camp for early morning game drive in the park. Drive back to the Camp Bastian Mikumi for lunch. Then drive to Iringa Town where you will visit the Ismila Stone Age Museum. After Visiting Museum, we will go to the Neema Crafts Guest House for dinner and your overnight stay.

Activities of the Day: Game Drives and Museum Visit

Day 3&4: Ruaha National Park

Transfer Guest House – Ruaha NP: 2Hours

Program: After breakfast, you will drive to Ruaha National Park and have lunch served in the park. In the afternoon, you'll have game viewing in the park, which is known to be one of the more natural, unspoiled as well as one of the largest parks in Africa. Ruaha national park is one of the few Tanzania’s famous wilderness area where one can have a rare experience of game viewing spiced up by the fascinating landscape. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Ruaha Cottages. The meal plan includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Morning after breakfast, full day game viewing in the park. The exciting Great Ruaha River features large numbers of hippo and crocodile and attracts lion, leopard, hunting dog and other species such as waterbuck, impala, giraffe, warthog, eland, zebra and elephants. Grant’s gazelle, ostrich and cheetah may be seen on the plains.

Accommodation: Ruaha Cottages.

Day 5: Ruaha NP– Udzungwa National Park

Transfer Ruaha – Udzungwa: 6 hours

Program: After breakfast drive to Udzungwa National Park. Arrive there late afternoon. Visit Prince Bernard Waterfall and village market. Udzungwa is the largest and with most biodiversity and a chain of a dozen large forest-swathed mountains that rise majestically from the flat coastal scrub of eastern Tanzania.

Activities of the Day: Game Drives

Accommodation: Udzungwa Twiga Hotel.

Day 6: Udzungwa National Park to Dar es Salaam

Transfer Udzungwa to Dar es Salaam:6hours

Program After early breakfast drive to the starting point of Udzungwa trekking and then drive back to Dar es Salaam, where you will arrive late Evening.
