Day By Day Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival and Transfer to Nyerere NP
JNIAA– Nyerere NP: 6HoursProgram: You will be picked up at the hotel 8:00am in the morning after breakfast and drive for 5-6 Hours to Selous Nyerere National Park. Upon your arrival you will have hot lunch at the Camp followed by short rest. At 16:00pm enjoy evening Boat safari in the Rufiji River for 2-3 Hours. There you will find a variety of Birds species and a lot of crocodiles with hippos during your boat safari. In the evening, you will have an overnight stay at Selous Ngalawa Camp.

Accommodation: Selous Ngalawa Camp.
Day 2: Visiting Selous Game Reserve.
Transfer Camp – Selous GR: 30 MinutesProgram: You will have breakfast in your accommodation followed by full-day game drives in the reserve. Selous is home to a large population of elephants, a big number of buffalos and wild dogs. Other species commonly seen are lions, bushbucks, impalas, giraffes, elands, baboons, zebras, kudus and crocodiles. Your overnight stay will be at the Selous Hippo Camp or Selous Ngalawa Camp.

Day 3: Selous-Mikumi National Park
Transfer Selous– Mikumi NP: 2HoursProgram: In the morning after breakfast, you will check out and proceed by crossing north of Nyerere Park and driving to Mikumi National Park. This safari can take you about 8 hours to Mikumi National Park, crossing through Mount Uluguru. Arrival Mikumi Bastian Camp for dinner and Over Night. On arrival we will go on our first game drive in Mikumi National Park until later in the afternoon. Then we drive to the lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight. Mikumi National Park is relatively less developed infrastructure but that makes the park even better because that has helped in preserving the wilderness in its natural state for many years. Overnight at Camp Bastian.

Day 4: Mikumi National Park.
Transfer Mikumi – Dar Es Saalam: 6HoursProgram: Morning after breakfast drive again to Mikumi National Park for another game drive. Whilst on safari, you can see a rich variety of bird species, as well as large numbers of giraffe, buffalo and elephants. If you are lucky, you may also be able to spot lions, leopards and African wild dogs. Likely to be seen animals include zebras, hippos, hartebeest, wildebeest, impala, warthog, eland and antelope. Several observation towers enable you to overview the park in its entirety. Overnight at Camp Bastian or Mikumi Bandas on Full Board Basis.

Day 5: Mikumi-Dar Es Salaam
Transfer Mikumi– Dar es Salaam: 6hoursProgram: After your breakfast at Camp Bastian Mikumi, you will go for a morning game drive with packed picnic lunch to various areas of Mikumi National Park including Mkata, Chamgore (place of the python), and Mkata Food Plain within Mikumi National Park. After an extended game drive in the late afternoon starts your journey back to Dar es Salaam with a stop for lunch at Morogoro Town. After lunch you will then proceed to the agreed Dar es salaam city and be dropped off to Julius Nyerere international Airport or transferred to ferry station and take a boat to your next destination (Zanzibar). This is where your safari will end.
